What good and bad experiences have you had with books on Churchill?
I'd like to find a good one and would appreciate some recommendations.

The Last Lion by William Manchester is the gold standard when it comes to Churchill bios but its LONG. I've only read part of the first volume (900 pages.) For a really good read, pick up Jennie, the bio of Churchill's mother. That was terrific.
