How do I mark a series of points by Latitudes and Longitudes on a map?

I have a series of points by latitude and longitude. I need to mark all of the points on a map and label them. Then I would need to be able to print the map or use it in power point. It would be nice if the map showed features like roads, forests, lakes, rivers ect. This is for a presentation about locations of endangered species. Can you tell me which online mapping program or website would work best? Thanks for the help!

Take the map, and then use the markers set along it. The horizontal lines reprisent longitude, and the horizontal lines represent latitude. We can consider them X and Y, easily enough, because this is basically just a graphing problem.

Admittedly, it's been a while since I messed with that stuff, but I seem to remember that they give LAT/LON incriments on most maps. If your map doesn't have one, just use Google images until you can grab one on a world map that has what you need.
